We would be glad to have you visit with us. The Belgreen church of Christ is a congregation of Christians who come together to worship God, study His word, and encourage one another.
If you've never visited with us before, here's a little of what you can expect.
When We Meet
Sunday
Bible Study — 9:00 AM
Morning Worship — 10:00 AM
Evening Worship — 6:00 PM
Wednesday
Bible Study — 7:00 PM
On Sundays and Wednesdays, everyone gathers first in the auditorium before Bible classes begin.
When You Arrive
Parking is available around the building, with entrances on either side. You’ll usually find members near the entrances who will be glad to welcome you and help you find your way.
Before and after services, you’ll probably find quite a bit of conversation taking place throughout the building. We enjoy being together, and we hope you’ll feel welcome among us.
Bible Study
On Sundays and Wednesdays, we offer Bible classes for adults and children. Everyone gathers first in the auditorium for a song and prayer before dismissing to class.
Visitors are welcome to participate in any of our classes, and someone will be glad to help you find the appropriate class for you or your family.
What to Expect in Worship
Worship Together
Our worship is simple and centered on God and His word. We sing together as a congregation, pray together, and hear a lesson from the Scriptures. At the close of the lesson, an invitation is offered for anyone who wishes to respond.
The Lord’s Supper
Each Sunday we remember the death of Christ in the Lord’s Supper. The bread and fruit of the vine are available near the entrances for you to take to your seat before worship begins.
Giving
Members of the congregation give as part of our worship and our responsibility to the Lord’s work. We do not solicit contributions from our visitors.
What Should I Wear
You'll see a range of dress at Belgreen. Some men wear suits or jackets, while others wear slacks or jeans. Women wear dresses, skirts, or pants. There is no special dress requirement for visitors; we simply encourage everyone to dress respectfully as we gather to worship God.
Will I Be Singled Out?
No. Visitors are welcomed at the beginning of our announcements, but you will not be asked to stand, introduce yourself, or otherwise be singled out. Of course, don't be surprised if quite a few people introduce themselves to you before you leave.
